Earthpaint prompts pre-show excitement at Eco Rehabarama

Unexpected excitement has erupted on the jobsite of a home Dancraft Construction is remodeling for the upcoming Eco Rehabarama home show in Huber Heights, OH.

The painter was so surprised by the performance and low odor of the Earthpaint purchased from Greener Stock in Cincinnati, that the work crew has released some pre-show video before and after the paint has dried. In their rush, they did not notice that the camera was sideways, but you can lean your head to one side while you hear their unedited reaction.

Earthpaint – a low-VOC product – is being used in an healthful home by Dancraft Construction. It is designed to be“Allergy Friendly” with “Healthy Living” built in.

“The core of this home is an Ultimate Air Energy Recovery Unit that brings in, conditions and filters fresh and inside air,” says Dan Swank, owner of Dancraft.  “Our design elements include healthier cabinets, paints, floor coverings and others to make breathing, cleaning and living bit easier.”

The show, which runs May 11-13 and May 18-20, is presented by the Home Builders Association of Dayton, and it is the organization’s first to focus on planet and indoor-air friendly remodeling. It will feature 10 homes in an original part of Huber Heights that are being rehabilitated to exceed standards for safe, efficient and sustainable living.

The Dancraft home also features Forbo Marmoleum composition tile, a sustainable alternative to VCT. Click here for a complete listing of homes in the show, and will be back with a video when the work is finished.©
